8 golden rules for the environmental protection
Camping Village Pino Mare strongly believe in our guests satisfaction and in the environmental protection. The village directs its activities towards tourists care and environmental protection.
For this reason EMAS Regulation is the benchmark for our Environmental Management System. An intervention programme has been developed to reach the goal of an environmental improvement according to the following issues:
- technologies and systems for energy and water resources saving to limit and minimize wastes through the adoption of the available technologies for water saving.
We are committed on the promotion of suitable actions aiming at this objective.
- appropriate waste management by raising guests awareness and developing a differenciated waste collection system.
- involvement of the personnel, to increase public opinion awareness about environmental issues.
- green areas and carefully preserved beaches, clean and adequate toilets and amenities, easy access for disabled persons.
Water is a precious good and belongs to everyone: avoid waste and do not leave running taps.
Do not pour unsuitable substances into sewage pipes (varnish or other chemicals such as disinfectants): in this way you may pollute the whole sewerage system.
To protect the ecosystem respect the underwood and love nature around you.
Differentiated waste collection also on holiday; remember: Yellow = plastic, Green = glass, Brown = paper, Blue = general waste.
Light an unconstrained flame may cause a dangerous fire: using the ashtray is a civil gesture that lessen the risk.
Water plants during the hottest hours is useless: plants close their pores to avoid dehydration therefore water is wasted.
Use public transport and observe quietness hours: in this way you don’t disturb other guests. Holiday is a rest cure.
Try to use sun lighting and turn off the lights when unnecessary. Leaving the windows open when air conditioning is on is a waste of energy you could avoid.
